Starting from Seed
A growing season begins long before the first bloom. This is a look at how we start small seeds with enough warmth, moisture, light, and patience to give them a real chance.
- Start with a clean tray and a seed-starting mix made for young roots.
- Follow the packet for planting depth; some seeds need light to germinate.
- Keep the mix evenly moist, not waterlogged.
- Add strong light as soon as seedlings emerge.
- Label every variety and record what works for the next round.
Our rule: observe the tray in front of you and adjust before following a schedule blindly.
